School Council and Eco Schools
Our School Council took part in Democracy Week this year. They visited the North Tyneside Council Offices at the Quadrant to take part in lots of different activities, and they met the Chairman of North Tyneside Council, who presented them with a certificate.
Eco-Schools is a global programme engaging millions of children across 64 different countries, making it the largest environmental schools programme in the world. The programme provides a framework for learning and action around topics such as biodiversity, energy, litter, global citizenship, healthy living, grounds, transport, waste and water.
After all of our hard work, we were the proud recipients of the Green Flag Award!
The Young Mayor of North Tyneside, Max Godfrey, came to present us with our Eco Schools Award.
