Useful Information

Charges for services in our nursery class

At Forest Hall Primary we try where possible to avoid charging parents. We do not charge parents for nappies because we ask the parents of children who are not yet toilet trained to provide pull-ups for their child's use.

Similarly, school does not charge for sun cream as we expect parents to put this on their child before nursery. If children are staying for the full day, parents may send sun cream into school for their child's sole use. A member of the Early Years Team will supervise the child putting sun cream. Please write your child's name on their suncream.

When children are taken out of school to an event or on a visit, school will ask parents for a contribution towards  the trip and  PTA  funds are used to make up the rest of the cost.

School can offer 8 places for children eligible for 30 hours wraparound child care until 3.15pm. Priority is given to parents with a 30 hour childcare code , however, if there are any spaces available these can be booked by parents of 15 hour children for a fee of £15.00 per day.

Any child staying for the afternoon session must be provided with a packed lunch as school does not provide lunches for nursery age children.

School offers a Breakfast Club from 7.30am and also an After School Club until 5.30pm and charges parents for this service. Places must be booked and paid for in advance, charges are £6.50 for a full session of breakfast club (7.30am-8.45am), £5.50 for a part session (8.00am-8.45am).  £12.00 for a full session of After school club (3.15pm-5.30pm) and £6.50 for a part session (3.15pm-4.30pm).
